When hearts and souls start to get revived, it’s not always the ones you’d expect who do the work of the ministry.
2Chr 29:34 But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
Through the years, I have know many who are way more sanctified and consecrated than those who posses the pulpit.
God decides who is called and to whom He gives grace to minister. He doesn’t regard the seminary, He regards the man who will respond in sincerity of heart, contrition and obedience. The notion of a trained clergy and an untrained laity is not of God. It is the way of the gentiles and the world.
Jesus Christ builds His Church. Man builds his. Which one are you serving? Which one has you?
1Cor 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Cor 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
1Cor 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1Cor 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Cor 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
