Pope Francis Bergoglio claims that all are the children of God. Does he agree with Jesus, the scriptures and the Apostles?
“Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways. In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God,” Pope Francis said in his message, released Jan. 6, the feast of the Epiphany.
The Apostle Paul stated,
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus”
“By faith in Christ Jesus”
Some how the Jesuit Pope likes to leave that part out. I had a minor confrontation with a youth Pastor once for always preaching and telling everyone that we are all the children of God. It is not true. Jesus spoke directly contrary to such a notion as did the Apostles Paul, John and Peter as we will see below.
Here we see Paul explicitly clarifies who are the children of God.
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
I think that’s clear enough. But in case it’s not, we have Jesus’ words to certain ones:
(John 8:44 [AKJV])
You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Can one be the son of the devil and the son of God at the same time?
One must be born again to “become” a son of God, or “children of God” :
(John 1:12 [AKJV])
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(John 1:13 [AKJV])
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Born of God it says in verse13. And we can “become” the sons of God by being born of God through belief in Jesus Christ.
All men are not children of God. It is a lie. One must come through Jesus Christ and be born again. The scriptures are clear.
(1 Peter 1:3 [AKJV])
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Begotten us again, that is, born again.
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Are you a born again child of God by faith in Christ? That is the only way.
There are two types of Children in the earth, children of Belial / the devil and children of God by faith in Jesus Christ.
Let’s stay true to the scripture and let’s seek to know Jesus Christ and stop following men who teach and preach “another gospel”, like this Jesuit Pope Francis Bergoglio.
(Galatians 1:6 [AKJV])
I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel:
(Galatians 1:7 [AKJV])
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
(Galatians 1:8 [AKJV])
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
(Galatians 1:9 [AKJV])
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel to you than that you have received, let him be accursed.
Below, Paul frustrated with the Corinthian’s so readily receiving false Apostles and and another gospel chides them.
(2 Corinthians 11:3 [AKJV])
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
(2 Corinthians 11:4 [AKJV])
For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.
Let’s put off “other Gospels”. Either we are Christ’s through faith in Him or we are not. One must be born again.
(John 3:3 [AKJV])
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
(John 3:4 [AKJV])
Nicodemus said to him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
(John 3:5 [AKJV])
Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
(John 3:6 [AKJV])
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Below, in verse 10, the Apostle John distinguishes between the children of God and the children of the devil. If the Apostle John does this, then who is the Jesuit Pope Francis Begoglio to oppose him by calling all men the children of God?
(1 John 3:1 [AKJV])
Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.
(1 John 3:2 [AKJV])
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
(1 John 3:3 [AKJV])
And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
(1 John 3:4 [AKJV])
Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
(1 John 3:5 [AKJV])
And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
(1 John 3:6 [AKJV])
Whoever stays in him sins not: whoever sins has not seen him, neither known him.
(1 John 3:7 [AKJV])
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
(1 John 3:8 [AKJV])
He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(1 John 3:9 [AKJV])
Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
(1 John 3:10 [AKJV])
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.
the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil
All men are NOT the children of God as you can see by the scriptures.
